4 things I’ve learned this year

1) I still struggle when filling out cover art forms. I thought it would get easier with practice but it hasn’t. I am so grateful for the cover artists who read it and turn it into something amazing. 2) No matter how fun and exciting the new story is, anything with a deadline comes first.

3) Waiting to hear back from my editor(s) on a submission is still nerve racking.

4) Some books are easy, some books are hard work. But the end result of seeing my name on the cover is totally worth it.
